A new little addition to our family...

It's been a tough decision for us to upset the delicate balance of our family. We've been who we are for several years now, and the idea of adding another member to the dynamic was difficult. Nate and I have been content with how things are, we love having two little boys in our lives, and wouldn't change a thing.

It was Noah who kept bringing up the fact that he wanted a little sister. Noah adores babies and kept begging for us to have one. We'd already resolved ourselves to the fact that we wouldn't be having a daughter. Plus, we weren't sure we could handle any additional responsibility at our house. Once the kids are out of diapers and bottles, it's difficult to think about going back to that stage again.

If Noah hadn't been so persistent, we're sure it would never have happened, but it did. We now have a new little girl to love at our house. And Noah has been so helpful. He feeds her and changes her and shows her so much love.

Isn't she just beautiful?

We've never seen Noah so happy and proud!

That is so funny! I totally thought you were pregnant! I would say that is a good compromise.

That is so funny! Maybe we'll have to borrow Noah for a while when our baby comes.

What cute pictures of Noah and his baby sister. At first I thought you were going to say that you got a dog, or maybe even a cat!

I love it! Has he named her yet? He certainly is good with babies.

Noah just calls her Baby Alive most of the time. His other "baby" has gone missing, probably from the stress of it all, poor thing.
