Um...what?

I was looking through the December/January issue of a magazine I get and I found this tasty looking recipe for homeade marshmallows.

They look pretty yummy with that toasted coconut, don't they?

Well, they did look yummy, until I read the recipe description, which I've cropped here so it can be seen better:

Don't you want to rush into the kitchen and start making these right away?

No?

Why ever not?

It honestly says that? That's crazy! I don't think I'll be making those anytime soon!!

An odd gray mixture...depressing scent...horse hooves? Why would anyone put that in a magazine as a description? That doesn't make sense. Maybe the editor didn't read over that paragraph or something. Gross!

That's strange. I love horse .. . but really, who comes up with this stuff? LOL

I'm guessing it was a very disgruntled, soon to be laid off writer and a ditzy food editor who didn't check it over better.

Blech!

Yes, that copywriter will be fired soon, I am sure. I have a good friend who is a copywriter for most of Mrs. Fields adverts...I'll have to pass that on to her!
